    End of 2008

Posted In: General by Luis Duarte

We now reach the end of another year. Time is kind enough to give us an opportunity to look back and learn  from each of the decisions we made throughout the year; the start of an MBA program, the election/search for an internship, the initiative to meet new people and learn new things…

Dear all, we thank you for the support and energy you brought to the club; we surely expect to see the same engagement for next semester.

Please enjoy this break and keep sharing with us those ideas or events that you’d like to see organized by your club.

Wishing you a joyful holiday and expecting to see you in January 2009,

Still looking for your summer internship?

Johnson & Johnson has already hired a handful of graduate students from class 2009. It seems that Babson culture fits well with this company. For all of you interested in having an internship with J&J, please read the following:

International internship opportunities at J&J Latin America

The International Internship Recruitment Program (IIRP) seeks qualified 1st-year MBA candidates for managerial-level internship assignments in J&J operating companies located outside of the USA and Canada. Locations are listed below. Internships are non-rotational assignments and occur within one of the business segments of Consumer, Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices & Diagnostics.

This global internship program is a structured professional practicum designed to enhance self-awareness and develop leadership competencies. The optimal duration of an internship ranges 10-14 weeks, allowing time for the intern to acclimate to company work culture(s) and time to master several leadership development learning curves. The program matches the interests, capabilities, and leadership potentials of interns to challenging project assignments within a Marketing, Sales/Customer Relations Management, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics Operations, Human Resources or Business Development organization. Interns report directly to management supervisors and are expected to timely and significantly contribute to the advancement of business initiatives. Interns are provided opportunities to formally present their accomplishments, key findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

The internship provides an opportunity for company leaders to consider interns for fulltime Employment opportunities within their business organizations via the International Recruitment and Development Program (IRDP); visit www.careers.jnj.com for more info on the IRDP.

    OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE WITHIN:

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama-Central America, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
